Love Prevails!

Feeling weary in a battle or fatigued in the fight?  Or perhaps you may be feeling weighed down with the wild current world events.  Whatever may be going on in your mind and through your life, be sure of one thing……LOVE PREVAILS!!  I believe that perhaps more than ever, through His perfect love, His Word and His Holy Spirit, the Lord is doing such a deep purification work in the hearts of His beloved right now.  The Lord is working within those who turn to Him in this hour to bring healing, restoration and preparation for what He is about to do upon the earth.  Although these times are not easy, we can be assured that through the Blood of Jesus, Love Has Prevailed!  In these times Jesus is weeding out the things of our hearts so that we may become a prepared people ready to move in complete sync with Him to bring about a Harvest unlike this world has ever seen!  All throughout the Bible we read of heroes of the faith who cried out to the Lord in their desperate times of need and Yahweh answered their cry unto Him.  King David poured his heart out to the Lord many times in the Psalms as we read a glimpse of the intimacy he shared with the Lord.  One of David’s sonship prayers recorded in Psalm 19:13-14 in the Passion reads,

“Keep cleansing me, God,

and keep me from my secret, selfish sins;

may they never rule over me!

For only then will I be free from fault

and remain innocent of rebellion.

So may the words of my mouth, my meditation-thoughts,

and every movement of my heart be always pure and pleasing,

acceptable before your eyes, Yahweh,

my only Redeemer, my Protector.”

David was crying out to the Lord for the purification of His heart so that he could serve him faithfully with a pure heart.  May the cry of David’s Sonship prayer echo in our hearts as we yield to Holy Spirit, become clothed with humility and position our hearts for purification for all that God wants to do in us and through us for His glory!  In so doing, you will be renewed with might through Holy Spirit in your inner man and become strengthened and filled with new courage, passion and pursuit for more of Him!  Today allow God’s perfect love to prevail within you bringing change to everything around you as you become more clothed with Christ and transformed more into His image and likeness!  Wield the weapon of hope in the Lord that is a sure and tested anchor to your soul.  Love has prevailed and will always prevail because God is Love!  Bless you as you anchor even deeper in God’s perfect love for you.

“For all of you who were baptized into Christ have clothed yourselves with Christ.” Galatians 3:27 NIV

“But we all, with unveiled face, beholding as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from glory to glory, just as by the Spirit of the Lord.” 2 Corinthians 3:18 NKJV

The Oil Of Unity

Recently while reading the Word in my quiet time, the Lord highlighted something to me in the Bible that I had always wondered about but hadn’t dug with Him deeper to discover more of the meaning.  Has the Lord ever done that with you?  It’s as if He takes great joy and delight when His children seek out the endless hidden treasures all throughout His Word that breathe and bring New Life as we abide in and with Him while reading His Holy Word (see Proverbs 25:2).  Now that’s a treasure hunt!  The Lord showed me one of His incredible hidden treasures when recently reading Psalm 133.

How good and pleasant it is when God’s people live together in unity!  2 It is like precious oil poured on the head, running down on the beard, running down on Aaron’s beard, down on the collar of his robe. 3It is as if the dew of Hermon were falling on Mount Zion. For there the Lord bestows his blessing, even life forevermore.” Psalm 133 1-3 NIV

When I was reading Psalm 133, I pondered why the Lord highlighted verse 2 so much to me as I asked Him about it.  What is it with the phrase, “running down Aaron’s beard” really signify?  We know that Aaron was the high priest and that when they would anoint the high priest, they would pour fragrant olive oil upon him anointing him as the new high priest, but what the Lord showed me next surprised me.  We read in verse 2 that it dripped down Aaron’s beard then down the collar of his robe.  As I researched this, the Lord showed me that the oil of anointing dripped down the beard, then collar and then covered the high priest’s ephod that he was wearing with the 12 stones of Israel on it now covered with oil….the oil of unity.

The Lord began to speak to me about verse 1 and how this was a prophetic foreshadowing of Jesus Christ who is our forever High Priest, and as He was anointed as High priest, the anointing upon Him would bring unity and blessings among all God’s people (from every tribe, nation and tongue).  In a time where violence and darkness is raging, we have this depiction through Jesus’ finished work, that as we come together in unity of spirit, hearts and mind (according to Acts 2), the blessing of the Lord of life forevermore is poured out on His people bringing Zoe life into our lives and the lives we touch through His love alive in us.
I want to encourage you that in whatever spheres of influence you find yourself in, sowing that oil of unity into the atmosphere and into the people through your prayers and actions makes a HUGE difference.  Since we are all called to be the salt and light of Jesus to the world, we move in the opposite spirit of the things of the world to release God’s Kingdom upon the earth.  In doing so, atmospheres are shifted as hearts become saturated with oil through our prayers unto the Father.  Make it a point this week to intentionally intercede for unity in the Church, in our state and in our nation as we continue witnessing God unfold more of the incredible things He’s doing as His Church is going out of the walls to be salt and light!

What If Problems Didn’t Exist, Only Opportunities?!

Could It Be True?

My fellow believers, when it seems as though you are facing nothing but difficulties, see it as an invaluable opportunity to experience the greatest joy that you can! For you know that when your faith is tested it stirs up in you the power of endurance. And then as your endurance grows even stronger, it will release perfection into every part of your being until there is nothing missing and nothing lacking.” James 1:2-4 TPT

This was a core belief I championed my previous coworkers with. The grace of God was the first reason, but this belief, that problems do not exist-only opportunities, very well may have been the second reason that our group was the most efficient and effective team. Don’t let hurdles hold you back. Rise up and run with endurance! Even when trials trip you up, God’s love and grace picks you up and places you on solid ground. Living from this heavenly perspective shifts us from impossible to possible, hopeless to hopeful, defeated to positioned for victory. Instead of seeing a problem (negative), your eyes are already opened to see a solution (positive) or even better, a promise in the Kingdom of God. 🙂 Now, don’t try to live this out with your ‘own’ strength!

God’s grace empowers us to live Kingdom and counter world. Apart from Him we can do nothing. But with God, all things are possible!! I remember when my absolute favorite pastor in all the world (Nicholas Barta;) told me Abba had spoken to him, “Son, when you do things in your own strength you get your own results. When you do things in My strength, you get My perfect results!” Let’s pray for God’s grace and receive the upgrade! A key to endurance is abiding in Jesus, and in abiding you receive HIS joy, which is your strength. Run strong, run with joy! Challenges are mere opportunities in disguise to press in for God’s brilliant solutions to anything you are facing and bring Him glory!

We often grow the most through hardship/trials. Muscle even in the natural is built through resistance. I like to include in my prayers from time to time, Jesus please do not let pain be my only motivator, but let me live so intentional that I’m learning outside of the trials as well! 😉 Not all hard things are from God, but we have a promise in His word that He works all things together for the good for those who love Him and are called according to His purpose, so let’s not miss anything in the journey! You always ultimately win with Jesus!

What is your main ‘pain point’ right now? What if you chose to see it as an opportunity to experience the greatest joy that you can, and invite Holy Spirit to bring His brilliant wisdom for a solution? Watch heaven invade! Love each of you so much and pray that you are blessed beyond your wildest dreams this week!

Sons & Daughters of God,
The time has now come, and the Lord is unveiling the mystery of oneness through His Bride upon the earth for such a time as this!  These are INCREDIBLE times to be living in, as the Holy Spirit has been working in the Church to prepare the New Wineskin for the great move of God to come!  This New Wineskin is the wineskin of ONENESS.

“..that they all may be one, as You, Father, are in Me, and I in You; that they also may be one in Us, that the world may believe that You sent Me.” John 17:21 NKJV

In John chapter 17, we receive something beyond incredible and profound, as John scribed the words of Jesus’ last and longest prayer which was and is the Lord’s greatest desire for His Bride upon the earth….and that is we would become ONE.  One with God and one with each other.  This oneness that Jesus prays for is not merely a heart posture or action, but rather it is the glorious manifestation of the very essence of God upon the earth!  By the work and power of the Holy Spirit, we are being formed and fashioned into looking, acting and loving just like Jesus upon the earth (see 2 Cor 3:18).  Our pursuit is living with greater and deeper experiential revelation of oneness with Jesus.  Out of living and abiding in oneness with the Lord, we then can manifest (display, model, express) that same love to this lost, broken and hurting world so that they may see Jesus and not the portrait that religion portrays Him to be. I believe with all my heart that in the last days, we will see ONE Church that looks and loves just like Jesus for the glory of God!  Hallelujah!!

As we all are in the process of growing into this New Wineskin of Oneness, I encourage you all to read John 17 many times throughout this month and to meditate on it as Holy Spirit reveals more & more depth of oneness to you as you continue to grow in Him through abiding in Him.  Bless you as you grow greater, stronger and deeper roots in the soil of agape love oneness 🙂

With Unveiled Faces…

What a wild time to be alive!  I felt that the Lord was breathing on a scripture in 2 Corinthians to bring fresh revelation, understanding and wisdom in these wild times we’re living in.  I am reminded that our purpose in this life, in all that we do and in all that we’re involved with, is really simple.  In a society that seems to be laser fast with everything and seems to even be accelerating, our sole purpose is simply to be loved and to become more like Jesus.  More important than the ‘what‘ we do in this life is the ‘who‘ that we become through this life.  2 Corinthians 3:18 says, “But we all, with unveiled face, beholding as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from glory to glory, just as by the Spirit of the Lord.”  We learn something so important through the Word of God for our daily lives through this word.  We learn that:

1) We have unveiled faces before the Lord.  There is NO shame, no hiding, no embarrassment and no lack of access to the Father.  We simply come as we are before the Lord through the Spirit who brings freedom and the Son who purchased us with His Holy Blood. Nothing can stop you from coming straight to the Father for ALL of life’s needs.
2) We are being shaped and transformed by the glory of the Lord, and it is by His glory that we are being transformed to become just like Jesus—in His ‘same image and likeness.’  Our destination in life is to become just like Jesus and to love like Him, think like Him, relate like Him and pray like Him.
3) By the Holy Spirit, we are brought to and transformed through one degree/revelation of glory to another degree of glory.  It is in the very glory of the LORD of the entire universe that we are being shaped, taught, molded and transformed to become JUST LIKE JESUS!  Hallelujah!!

In understanding these three main truths within this verse, we can shape our life around our central core purpose in life to receive love and become just like Love Himself.  From this place, the busyness of life’s fast pace full of distractions, demands, opportunities and trials suddenly seems to blur out and our top pursuit to be transformed to become like Jesus and love like Jesus takes residence in our hearts and in our minds.  Then, our pathway in life becomes more clear, free from the excess clutter as we posture our hearts in greater devotion to Jesus, loving Him with the love He first gave us, and becoming more and more like Him in His glory as we continue to abide in oneness with Him 🙂

Holy Spirit then asked me, “How does a mirror tarnish?” Looking it up, I found “Mirror rot, or mirror desilvering as it’s officially called, is when the shiny surface of your mirror begins to fade to an ugly, tarnished black. Oftentimes, this desilvering begins as tiny, almost unnoticeable black dots along the corners or edges of your mirror. Over time the dots grow and multiply until they smooth together into a black blur….what causes this is when the layer between the glass and metal becomes separated.” The separation is often caused by harsh chemicals, and then moisture and things get in that don’t belong and the mirror becomes tarnished. Wow! When we are not abiding as one with Jesus, it opens us up to tarnished perspective and we will not see clearly! Let’s keep ‘harsh chemicals’ like offense, unforgiveness & negativity out of our lives so we are not opened up to the enemy’s influence. We were made for LOVE!  Bless you all as you continue to ABIDE, be ONE, become shaped by His glory and transformed to be just like our glorious King Jesus!

2023 FOCUS

Some say that 20/20 is perfect vision, yet how vitally important is our spiritual vision in life….and specifically for this new year?  I recently heard the Lord say, “I’m giving my sons and daughters who pursue Me, 2023 FOCUS.”  As I have been praying and seeking the Lord for 2023 and what He has in store for my family and for this ministry, the Lord has made one thing VERY clear……and that is the extreme importance of the spiritual discipline of FOCUSING on what He has for each and every one of us specifically this year as we have crossed over.  I believe the Lord is calling out to us and inviting us into the secret place with Him, to seek Him, abide in Him and pursue His plans for our lives.  We are living in very different times than just a few years ago.  This spiritual discipline of undistracted focus is perhaps more important than ever before.
God says in His Word in the book of Wisdom,

Set your gaze on the path before you.
With fixed purpose, looking straight ahead,
ignore life’s distractions.
Watch where you’re going! Stick to the path of truth,
and the road will be safe and smooth before you.
Don’t allow yourself to be sidetracked for even a moment
or take the detour that leads to darkness
Proverbs 4:25-27 TPT

I believe the Spirit of God is speaking clearly to us all, to set aside and throw off the distractions of life that are keeping us from walking in the fullness of our calling and anointing in the LORD.  He is looking for a people who will pursue Him passionately once more, deeper, and invite His Spirit to expose and remove the distractions that have sidelined us in our destinies in the Lord.  2023 is a powerful and very important year that lies ahead of us, and we are believing that as we seek Him in the secret place, that He will be faithful to bring Clarity, Correction, and Direction for this new year ahead of us.  Just as in the picture above, everything that is on the outside of that which is in the center of the scope is blurred.  ONLY that which is in the center vision is clear, in focus and is a straight path.  Our prayer for each of you is to find that place of clarity, correction and direction from the Lord early in 2023, so that you would be more Focused, more Effective, and more Fruitful in and for the Lord!!  So make space sons and daughters, and let the Lord speak and reveal to you the things to come in this new year (see Jeremiah 33:3).  “For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.”  Be encouraged, be strengthened with might in your inner man, and passionately pursue the Lord to receive greater focus and clarity for your life as you continue to burn brighter for sweet Jesus!!

Dwelling In The Secret Place

Shalom Beautiful Family of God!
Recently, Father God captured my heart with the power of His word in one of my favorite Psalms.  Psalm 91 releases so much life and truth to us as we place our trust and our hope deeper and more fully in the Lord in every area of our lives.  Psalm 91:1-2 says, “He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High Shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of the Lord, “He is my refuge and my fortress; My God, in Him I will trust.
This is an incredibly powerful truth because we learn that no matter what our situation or circumstance may be, we are assured that as we dwell in the secret place of the Most High, that we will abide (continue/remain) under the shadow of our Almighty God.  This means that we will be overshadowed by the God of all creation, and so will every situation or circumstance that we personally face or face corporately as a body.  This is so important with the mid term elections coming up and with so much on the table to be decided that will shift the course of our nation for good or for worse.  We must heed the wisdom and truth that God is speaking to us all today in Psalm 91, that no matter what the condition, outcome, result or situation may be, we all are assured that we will abide under the covering of Almighty God, and be overshadowed by God’s greatness, glory, might, power, dominion and absolute authority!

Think about that for a minute….
As we make the secret place (our place of prayer & connection of intimacy with God) our primary place, we are promised that we will abide in this place of safety, refuge, covering and protection by our Father who reigns over everything! This means that His shadow of unmatched authority and rulership now overshadows us, and all our circumstances and situations.  That is a powerful liberating truth that combats the enemy attempts to throw heaviness, weariness, overwhelmed emotions or anything else at us that tries to move us from that place of dwelling in the secret place.

I’ve heard it said that, whatever overshadows you will shape you.  Let us all make an active decision TODAY, that we will continually, every day dwell in the secret place with our Lord Jesus Christ, and that in that place we will let God’s greatness overshadow everything in our lives so that we will be shaped by Almighty God’s greatness and power and not overwhelmed and shaped by fear of our circumstances or the circumstances going on in our nation and in our world.  God is greater, bigger and more powerful than anything, and as we dwell in the Father’s presence, we are strengthened and equipped with greater faith and Kingdom perspective for whatever lies ahead!  Bless you as you enjoy dwelling in the secret place this week, and may you be further equipped to soar onwards more confidently as you abide under His wings as your refuge.

The Aroma of Christ’s Blood

Recently, God laid this scripture on my heart and I feel it is a strong word for the Body of Christ to stand on during these wild times we’re living in.  2 Corinthians 2:14 in the NKJV says, “Now thanks be to God who always leads us in triumph in Christ, and through us diffuses the fragrance of His knowledge in every place.”  This powerful verse teaches us powerful truth that has strong applications for us in these last days.

We learn that our destination where God is leads us is and will always be in TRIUMPH.  No matter the battle, hardship, suffering, chaos, etc that we are facing, we can be assured that as we are fully surrendered to God, He will lead us in triumph in Christ.  This verse in the NIV says that we are led as ‘captives in Christ’s triumphal procession.’  This is massively significant because in context, Paul is referring to a triumphal processional that a King would have with his army when a territory belonging to their enemy was conquered.  The conquering king would then have a triumphal processional declaring his victory over the enemy and over the land that had been conquered.  Since we are in Christ and Christ our King is in us, we are led in Jesus’ triumphal procession over the entire world which is an eternal triumph.

In this eternal triumphal processional, Christ diffuses and releases the knowledge of His absolute victory in every single place in this life and for all eternity.  Just think of that for a moment.  Through you, as you abide in Jesus, you are continually led in His triumphal procession through life, and in that leading, He is actively diffusing through your surrendered life the aroma of His victory over the enemy and over the grave to every situation, circumstance, and issue we encounter or face.  That very aroma is known to the rulers of darkness and all evil powers, because that aroma is the aroma of Jesus’ sacred, victorious Blood!!  As we dive deeper into this revelation of 2 Cor 2:14, we begin to learn much more about how we’re being led and what is being released through us as we follow the Holy Lamb of God.  I pray that you all would go forth this week and in this season and beyond, more aware and actively partnering with the aroma of Christ being released in you and through you to everything around you.  As a result, I believe there is greater breakthrough to be seen and experienced spirit, soul and body as we co labor with Christ and walk authoritatively in His victory.  Glory to the Lamb of God who rules and reigns over all the nations!!!

TRUST GOD! HE alone is worthy!

You often hear that we should be praying Psalm 91 individually and over others in these crazy times in which we find ourselves. I believe that we need look no further than the first two verses to find peace in the midst of the chaos in our lives.

He who/Whoever dwells in the shelter of the Most High will abide/rest in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of the LORD, He is my refuge and my fortress, my God in Whom I trust. Psalm 91:1-2

Those who ·go to God Most High for safety [L dwell/sit in the shelter of God Most High]
will ·be protected by [lodge in the shade/shadow of] the Almighty.
I will say to the Lord, “You are my ·place of safety [refuge] and ·protection [fortress].
You are my God and I ·trust [have confidence in] you. (Psalm 91:1-2 EXB—Expanded Bible)

I can’t tell you how often I say, “I trust God alone,” “I trust You, God,” and that is how I can be free of anxiety every moment of every day. I choose to live residing in the peace I receive through Jesus and His Holy Spirit dwelling in me. Jesus is God as much as the Father is God, and He spoke that He is the only way to the Father. God is triune. [Don’t let that term trip you up nor confuse you, by the way. Triune simply means three parts in one. You and I are triune—body, soul (mind, will, and emotions), and spirit.] How can I say that I know God and trust Him alone? Through faith, and faith is available to everyone. To each one, we are told in the Bible, God gives a measure of faith. It’s His gift! I receive it! What is faith? Faith is believing and trusting God. Faith comes by hearing and hearing by the Word of God. That’s a verse in the Bible. We must spend time in the Bible/His Word to grow our faith. Then we become more and more confident in our belief and trust in God and get to know Him personally through Jesus/Yeshua/Son of God, really God Himself Who came to live among us, Emmanuel. And in that name, Emmanuel/Immanuel, we learn that He not only was with humankind 2,000 years ago but He is still with us, through His Holy Spirit whom He sent when He returned to the Father. As we study the Bible, the Word of God, we realize how much He loves us and all that He has promised to those Who believe and receive His grace through Jesus. Jesus is the only way to the Father. Through Jesus, we receive His free gift of Salvation, His redemption, His unconditional love, His healing, His making us whole, His adoption into His family in order to spend eternity with Him. I could site the verses which prove everything I have stated; but I know that I am talking to someone who already knows them and can easily find them or recite them, or I’m talking to someone whom I would encourage to search for them in order to grow that measure of faith which you have been given by God Himself and be encouraged as you get to know Him better (through His Word and through personal communication/prayer) and are welcomed into His family and into His Kingdom here on earth and forever!

Do You Have Enough Ear Wax?

While my son and I were recently talking, a chunk of ear wax came out of his ear.  With big concerned eyes he asked me what just fell from his face. Holy Spirit used a normal every day occurrence to speak about a powerful spiritual principal. (And, for all you mamas that are feeling concerned that such a thing should not be a normal occurrence, I am considering upping the amount of baths we give the kiddoes each week. 😉 )

In an effort to ease my son’s concerns, I assured him that God has a purpose for everything and ear wax is a good thing and that it was doing its job to protect his ear opening. I remember thinking back when I was a teenager and believing that mucus was bad too.  It wasn’t until my high school choir teacher set me free from that fear with the truth that mucus is a gift from God that is used to wrap around the stuff that doesn’t belong in our body and cause it to be removed. Ear wax is the same, in that it is a gift from God to get out what doesn’t belong in our body. I wonder how often we judge things incorrectly; we see the situation, circumstance, or challenging personality as bad/the problem, but God is actually saying that is the very blessing He’s giving to us to remove what doesn’t belong in our lives…like offense, pride, unbelief, etc.
Wow…I just got convicted too…

A quick Duck duck go search with likely reliable information revealed…”Ear wax, also called cerumen, is a sticky, shiny substance produced by the wax glands located in the outer part of your ear canal (the canal that separates the fleshy outer ear from the inner ear). Ear wax is 20 to 50 percent fat, and it coats the ear canal to moisturize it, fight off infection, and help keep dust, dirt, and other debris from getting deep inside your ear. Once ear wax has served its purpose, it eventually migrates from your ear canal to the opening of your ear, where it normally dries up and falls out of your ear.)

What was the spiritual principal Holy Spirit started speaking about in that moment? Faith.. How did we get to faith from ear wax?…Romans 10:17 states that ‘faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.’ Hearing is the Greek word  akoḗ – properly, hearing; used of inner (spiritual) hearing that goes with receiving faith from God  i.e. spiritual hearing (discerning God’s voice) and ‘word’ is not logos (written word of God) it is rhema (spoken word of God). 2 Corinthians 5:7 states ‘For we walk (conduct my life, live) by faith, not by sight’. Without faith it is impossible to please God (Hebrews 11:6). “For in it the righteousness of God is revealed from faith to faith; as it is written, “The just shall live by faith.” (Romans 1:17)  Faith is critical in the kingdom of God! Faith is so fun to study and leads to the increase of great encouragement! Here’s just one goodie, “He(Abraham) did not waver at the promise of God through unbelief, but was strengthened in faith, giving glory to God, and being fully convinced that what He had promised He was also able to perform.” Romans 4:20-21

The question I hear Holy Spirit ask is, what are you ‘hearing’? What are we allowing to speak to us, get inside, and have influence in our lives? Is it resulting in faith or fear? Faith or doubt? Faith or unbelief? It may not be easy to live from the unseen, but by God’s grace, it is possible! What is not of God can be filtered out of our lives. These are days we have the choice to flourish in or to whither up. We need to ensure we have our spiritual ear wax in full operation so that what doesn’t belong will be removed from us and not take root!

One element of our spiritual ear wax is discernment, and when we fix our eyes on Jesus, we will not be deceived. Filtering all we ‘hear’ through the filter of God will ensure we are able to remain steadfast and flourish in these challenging times! What does not belong will be wrapped up in His truth and removed from us, having no influence. Hallelujah!!  Thank you Holy Spirit for speaking even in the seemingly insignificant events of life. You make everything purposeful and we love you! :’)
